First, well done to everybody, we're going good. However, we run the risk of becoming disorganized end up doing redundant work.
So i made a quick list of the stuff we need to do. I've also marked which i think are high, medium, and low priorty. If I've forgotten something, or you think something should be higher or lower, feel free to say so.

I use media fire to attach files and then put the direct links on here.

Sign up to media fire. I did and I think it's great!

Make sure you put your files as private though (if possible). If not possible, just use dropbox for stuff that's private.

It's possible to edit posts. So everyone of our members could just make one reply in a new topic and edit it with something like this:

[Code] Conquest GameRules:
  • Current State: Class selection finished, only needs to be extended with more funcitonality/classes. Works in multiplayer. Now need capturable CPs.
  • Approx finish date: Christmas 12.


[Model] Rebel Snow Trooper:
  • Current State: Finishing high-poly.
  • Approx finish date: Nov 12.


Then edit it when state changes/you have another task etc etc.

Easier to check out for everyone than files.

Well, you could add the actual stuff which needs to be done.
For environments it's not that easy.
For weapons:
- E-11 #deltaquad
- SE-14 (I think) #Deforges
- DL-44
- DH-17 #deltasquad

Characters:
- Rebel trooper #Ande

Reused props/interactive objects:
- Ammo/Health droid #? #Lephenix
- Control Point(default and 'important' model like in SWBF[important takes longer to capture, is larger]) #Sharky

Code/Entities:
- Control Point #Ande/Andy
- Health/Ammo pack #Ande

User Interface:
- Select CPs/where to spawn(conquest) #(Ande)

Hoth;
- finish tunnels / main rooms #Sharky
- outside props (rocks) #Krymore
- Bunker entrances

(Vehicles:
- Snowspeeder #Sharky?
- Speederbike
- AT-ST #Sharky?
- AT-AT)

But otherwise it's good. I'd set the gamerules coding to high though and add Abilities or so to the coding part. Things like health/ammo packs etc are quite important to the gameplay.

Oh yeah, sure, am building a doc for that too.
There's quite a lot of stuff.
I left gamerules coding for last as in my experience in the games industry they tend to leave well defined gameplay rules for last, while building up the main level assets and main gameplay functionality (combat, vehicles, etc).
Oh yeah, abilities->that's power system. Wink

Yeah, in this case the GameRules (CGameRules class) is part of the gameplay functionality because we need multiple classes to select from. The actual game rules of course come later. It's just that the C++ class is called GameRules.

Ah ok. Then that goes into gameplay func. i thought you were referring to the lua rules for gamemodes (conquest, etc, etc).

I am working a bit on the ground textures to get some basic ones, however, I haven't used photoshop in a good while so I am relearning it. Otherwise sorry about the delays overall it may seem like I am gone but I am just busy in real life.

Why not, the ammo droid is nearly finished, and i'll try to do the health droid in 3DS Max with the perfect setup for CryEngine Cool . It could be a good practice.
