Hey there.

Wanted to ask about a BattleCry team SWBF2 evening. So somebody should run a server and everybody who wants to play can join and talk. Thought about Skype or TS.

The best would be on PC, I play there too.

We should figure out who has the best Internet (as long we don't want to pay for a server).

Ben2356: I really would like to join this but my SWBF2 disc is destroyed, been like that for a while. I'll try to pick up a new copy and join


rocknroll237: Wait, I thought Ande was talking about running a server for CE3... If Ande's talking about SWBF2, then I've got the game and can run a server.


My speeds: Download: 4mb/s (bits), upload: not so good!


Andy: So at the moment it is about SWBF2. 4MB/s Upload? Great, think we found the hoster

Lephenix: i have a like 500kb/s max, so i guess you won ;D


rocknroll237: you talking in bits Lephenix? Or bytes?

rocknroll237: find out, cause if you're talking in Bytes, you roughly have the same as me. If you're talking in bits, that's shockingly slow! There are 8 bits in a byte.


Lephenix: Just downloaded something i have like 350 Ko/s


rocknroll237: So I assume you're talking in Bytes then. In which case, me and you both have a good speed.


Sharky: I have around 10 Mbps ( bits) but i also have to get the game since i don't have it in me
I live far to the east from greenwich and i don't know how it will affect things.


rocknroll237: Wow, that's fast. Yeah, the game is cheap. But you can also torrent it.


Lephenix: well if he torrents it, he won't be able to play online, i think.

Perhaps you should give me your steam names as opposed to the login id.

Did you buy any games on Steam? IIRC you can't add anyone until you have bought something.

I've heard that a number of things coudl be causing the search problems.

It's buggy and inconsistant, the difference in timezones apparently makes a difference and according to some forum posts, you cannot search for someone if they are offline.

CAN EVERYONE SEND ME A DIRECT LINK TO THEIR PROFILES FOR STEAM PLEASE?
