Hey, we want maek video. pls halp
Where? - Hoth tunnels.
What? Can show right now: - Player running around. - Player shooting blaster rifle. - Health/ammo being regenerated via medic/gonk droid.
Could show if decided: - Player selecting class and CP to spawn as/on (would need spawn menu design!). - Player capturing a CP (would need HUD design, to show the amount of capture).
(- Multiple players running around/shooting each other with a blaster rifle.)
When? As in, when will we show what in the video.
TO DO: Fo Sho: - 'Intro' (can just be a BattleCry logo fading in or something, possibly with sound/music).
Maybe: - If we decide on shooting, sounds for at least one weapon (A280/Dh-17 for rebels, E-11 for empire). - Some music in the background? - Separate animation sets for any weapons we decide to show (I'd set the maximum of weapons to 2, one for each side). - As I said up there, if we decide to show something like the Spawn Menu we obviously need a HUD/GUI for it.
Go brainstorm some mo'!

We could do something simple like this, though it wont be as long since we don't have that big of a level yet. I'm not sure what stage the FP animations are at, but we could just focus on TP for this video. Any ideas on which character we'll be showing off?
Animation goals for video: - Smoother blends and transitions - Polish some of the placeholder animations - Item swapping - Aim poses for a 2nd weapon (?)
Maybe list for after goals are met: - Skin more characters - Combat animations such as reload/grenade

Most likely it'll be Hoth, so the 2 snowtroopers would be well-suited. But I'm not sure if that will be the map we end up showing.
The second weapon would be the E-11 cause we need a rifle for the Empire.
AFAIK there's a rig for the FP animations but no actual animations.

Seeing as we don't have any sound coded yet, I can sync some to the video for the weapons/character etc so that we at least have something! or if we have the time I can crack open the character editor in fmod and we can start the long winding process or putting sounds into the game...
What sort of things were you thinking for the logo?
In my head i hear twinking, followed by a whoosh/impact as the logo lands and then perhaps we take some score that builds tension?
