| YO. Had to find something relatively simple for the next character because I most likely won't have a lot of time nearing the end of the month. All WIP off-course (hue hue).

| Dunno, they seem alright. His head is temporary I guess (cause it sure needs to be a bit bigger, or the helmet is too large ) | |

| Exelente,a and yup and it look like these soldiers are kids playing with helmet for grown ups. I love everything so far. This model's face will be more noticeable so I'm curious how it will turn out ;] | |

| True, guess I never noticed that because of the all the shooting going on Speaking of faces, do you think we should have 3 or so different faces for each characters (with a face visible obv). | |

| At some date when I have a relatively large amount of characters finished I had planned to just do some variations of heads (maybe even humanoid-looking aliens?) which we then could just randomize. Maybe not even have a set per class but for all troopers (per side? It would look weird to play against someone who has the same exact face as you do). | |

| Yeah it would. Especially since this is built on CryEngine. People will be expecting this. | |

| A true bro story when a soldier from the empire find out that he has twin brother on the rebel side... You mean when most of the characters are done because I can say that you already have a large amount of character done? | |

| 'Most' is a difficult definition for a game set in the Star Wars universe... I have a rough plan of troops I'd like to create because they're interesting and I think would be nice to have in-game. When I have most of those done, then I might start doing something like random faces etc. And sceluk, I think you're expecting 'people' to expect a lot more than what they seem to expect. From what I gather most of the people who want another SWBF don't give that much for visual gimmicks like random faces or visual customization. SWBF wasn't known for it's graphics, but Star Wars plus a variant of Battlefield gameplay. And these two will be the main factors when it comes to people playing (and liking) our game. I'd still like it, because it's relatively easy to do, but it's secondary. | |

Hue hue. But seriously: Faces are not my strength (yet). - Spoiler:
Will have to do for now though. Will be replaced some time. Note that it looks quite undetailed from that picture, that's the shader and lack of AA... mostly.

| Sure they will be looking for those two things mainly. But if you can hit a wider audience without alienating others, why not? And remember, I bet a few semi-pro (or even 'pro') game reviews will do a review of this and you can be sure they will nitpick. People expect miracles from Unity, from my experiences. | |

| Semi?
Thanks Leph.
No serious news/review site would criticize a lack of randomized faces, seriously. Kotaku might criticize the lack of half-naked boobs or something but not a lack of randomized faces. They'll definitely look at the graphics, but they'll look at it bearing in mind we are only hobby creators, not a professional studio. Everyone would like/appreciate something like randomized faces (if the faces/system is not total crap), but there's no real demand for it.

| Mhm, as you say, its not really high priority. Semi-pro: half professional (if there are any professional gaming review sites...since the score is related to how much the publisher pays them, IGN, cough cough). | |

| Now I get it.
The crotch area is a hot topic it seems. Joseph said it's too flat, you say it's too bulged... Must be down to personal experience.
Rock Paper Shotgun is the best PC gaming news site BTW. This is a scientifically proven fact.

| After a bit of talking with Tom I redid the pants (with an awesome ass) and changed around some other things. I added some pockets to the back but I dunno if I'll keep/redo them. Furthamoar I'd like to de-symmetrize his arms a bit, possibly with a comm device, anyone seen any cool designs I could strap on his arm? | |

| It actually juts out with another piece. It's basically the helmet which is a standard round helmet from WWII, the 'wing' extending to the back and the visor/blast shield on the front.
I'm gonna try Lando's comm thing, see if it fits. Kota's people seem to have gloves.
