Nice one. You nailed it.
Those little sacks on the waist look a bit cartoony maybe because they are too wrinkly on the side. A little less on the sides i think will be better.
I assume you are still making the backpack thing on the back the details on the knee armor? Razz

Either I'll make a new highpoly for the kneepads or sculpt those details in. Most of the hard surface stuff needs work, I just subdivided it for the sake of the screenshot.
I agree about the packs, they don't look that good. But they're quickly resculpted.

Imperial Scout Backpack

Made some changes to the backpack. Any objections to the sharp edges on the pack (which is not 'they're not accurate to the movies')?

Sharp edges? A bit of artistic freedom never did any wrong. if it looks better than the original\makes more sense, go for it.
IMO I don't se any difference. And the players are going to be looking at his back mostly, so it need to be good.

Maybe it's hard to see in that picture but it's not completely round anymore but is flatter on the sides.

Ah yes, I see it now. IMO it actually looks better that way. More definition, if you what I mean.
