| Uv'd and baked. moving onto texturing. I don't know what's up with that black strip on the base i'm hoping that goes away as I move on ahead. we'll see what happens. you'll noticed that the arms in the indents are just some planes I baked the arm onto so all those extra arms are only costing us about 50 tris total. | |

| I like. Arms look good like this. With a different color from the main base they'll be cool.
BTW, is it possible to animate the two arms? It'd be cool if you'd separate them from the mainbody so some hardbody animation is possible.

| It looks pretty good but there's a serious lack of details and it is missing lot of things to make it able to be a medical assistant (panels, screens, captors...): - Spoiler:

| I wouldn't call it serious. Most of the details (in the references) are just random and don't server any logical purpose. I'd make the arms a rather bright material tho. Right now they somehow blend in with the rest of the body. And Leph, GONK. At least upload what you have right now to dropbox. | |

| There might be some detailing missing but i dont think they are so noticable.
I agree with Ben that the arms are too dark. Again i dont know if its the renderer you use but at the moment its pretty hard to see the baked arms. I think something silver might work.

| The thing doesnt need to display stuff. IIRC in the movies it didn;t show anything,. I guess they hooked it up to a moniotr the see the output. | |

| Oooh, awesome. I'd still brighten up the arms some more. Similar to the material you used on the high-poly render at the top of the thread. Otherwise this one honestly kicks ass tho. | |

| Found a comment on moddb regarding this:
"Man the depth is really turning up well in these models. Just as a suggestion do you guys plan on putting in the silver/white outlines to the panels or just leaving it mostly grey? Was looking at this picture (although only part of the droid) had a lot of outlining done on it, mostly stainless steal by the looks of it...

Just a suggestion but great work either way."
