 ingame commander voice

hearing Altureues's AWESOME! Vader VO's gave me an idea.
When failing or succeeding objectives, the commander for each side (random rebel guy\Vader), could shout out congrats or 'You suck!' Several of vader's lines are pretty much spot on: Don't fail me again, most impressive.

Yeah, We could do that or I could record a couple of Imperial Officer's too and maybe some Rebels. I'm not as good at good guys, I sound somewhat whiny or just plain fake, so it might be best if we can find another VO artist for the good guys. I'll do my best though.

Tis no problem. Your darth vader VO more than makes up for it. Very Happy
If we think that the good guys suck (no offense), we will find another guy Smile so dw.

I bet we can use every voice we can get. Especially for the trooper voice overs.

Sure mate, go ahead! The more Vo the better. It gives a sense of uniqueness to each characters (not like Oblivion. just 12 voice actors....)

Not yet for now. I'm in the process of creating the GDD (game design doc).
We'll need to decide on the transcripts, or you can freestyle it.
If you need some practice, I guess these would be required for sure:
"Control Point Lost!"
"Control Point Capture!"
"MAtch Start!"
"You lose!"
"Victory!"
"Ion Cannon online!\offline!" Imperials: Offline version. Rebels: Both.
"Orbital Bombardment available" Imperial only
"Commencing Orbital Bombard" Imperial Only
"Orbital Strike Incoming!" rebel only

As I said, you can freestyle them. i.e don't follow exactly what's written here, just that its the same meaning kinda Wink
