Any important points/quotes about AEON games can be put in here for reference.

We can also discuss how this merge/working partnership will work out and the best ways to set things up.

Personally, I think we could let them work as a studio independent from us (while staying in contact) to start with and we can assess how effective that is. If it fails, we will probably have to merge or will have to walk away from the offer.

Interesting points I've heard from the main guy Luke Cole via a Skype group chat:


  • He can help with Paypal: "yeah one of my guys can assist you set it up...We have ours created...though we're using a free domain site on wix, due to the fact we havent received any donations to the current time because we're early development"
  • He can get us a lot more publicity as his Dad owns a popular site: "1para is a gaming comunity my dad owns"
  • He has a team of 5: a coder, a 2D artist, 2 3D artists and Luke Cole himself is mapper

Things we seemed to agree on:
No promoting of their team.
No promoting of anything until they have passed the test.
Be hard as steel.
Maybe 'integrate' them 'slowly' (as in: first the map, then X, then access to code, then access to assets).
We have one of our own in their proximity if matters get serious.

I also think the partnership thing would be best. Less chance of interference from their side.
Yeah slow integration is best.
I will volunteer for communication and liaising with them, given the rest of the team agrees.
Of course, I will keep our interests always first and listen to our team's concerns. Wink

Let's just set up a Skype chat with the most important people (Razz) from our team and their team. Communicating via middle-man (which is what you meant with 'I volunteer...' right?) only makes stuff get lost in translation and is not as effective.
I suppose me, you, Cam, Joseph, Josh, Stew and maybe Terry (I don't think they have a fulltime animator) will do.

They have a Naboo presentation but I'm not sure how much progress they've made on the map itself.

Well having spoken to Luke (from AEON games) recently, he's got a talented team built up and has been organising them well, so I've given him another chance to prove to us that his team is worthy.

He's got an exam to do soon, but once that's out of the way, he says that his team will start making more progress.
