Spawn screen is being done by Josh, its coming along nicely.
IMO, Infantry and Vehicle HUD's are a bit low priori for now, as well as sub menus (sub menus should just follow the style of the main).

of course, if you have the time to this, go right ahead and conceptize.

The infantry HUD is (alongside the spawn menu) the most important of those. That's what the players will be seeing most of the time.

Low priori for now I mean. Right now everyone's focus should be on getting the actual level up and running.
UI comes last.

UI To Do List Empty
PostSubject: Re: UI To Do List   UI To Do List EmptySat Apr 27, 2013 12:07 am

That was never challenged in any way. I stated that the infantry HUD is '...the most important of those', as in, the UIs/HUDs.
The finalization of the UI/HUD might come last, but there's no reason whatsoever to not develop/design a UI/HUD right now, we have the 'manpower', they don't have any other jobs right now, the UI is an important part of the game, and finally, a UI makes the game a lot easier to test.
We're an 'indie'/mod team, we have to get as much stuff done as possible when people have the motivation and time to do something. Just because the UI comes last in professional studios doesn't in any way mean we should do it last, too, especially if we have no idea who will be around when the moment of 'last' cometh. Better get more work done soon and redesign (make it better) later than do nothing and then have nothing when it's important.

Agreed, if we have dudes who can do nothing else but UI, sure why not, get designing, UI takes a long time to be finalized.
in that case, yes, infantry HUD is important. and vehicles a close second.
