Agreed, Ande. Smile DT are you going to add in the little slits on the side of the helmet as well?

Yeah, those and the 'box things' on the top half of the helmet are painted on so they will be added in the textured version. Wink

Ok so on moddb:

Overall good model, but the chest plate could be larger.

Should it be larger? I sometimes miss things like this.

Don't think so, looks fine to me. They weren't bodybuilders after all.

Not bodybuilders no. But they are soldiers. Much more buff than your average joe. Take a look at any of the US or UK Marines.
I know we had this argument before, but I will stand by my point. These guys are not slim models. They are big guys. They are trained for this.
I would make them a teeny bit wider in the chest.

Did some overall bulking up, nothing too drastic:

Also added armor 'stripes' for the back, added some bolts, redid the belt to match the refs and added a strap for the hip side boxes so they look attached to the belt.

Had to render each view seperate as my PC was being a shit lol, so I only posted the vertex color version.

Great work, now all he really needs is a good texture and perhaps some more minor detail in places.

If you mean those small squares between the boxes and the belt, that's material attaching the boxes to the belt. Not sure if I should have it go behind the boxes or just through the top.

I think Leph is referring to the blast absorber sinks. Those two flat boxes like flaps on the hip.
Nice holster Wink

Is this black thing the weapon holster? I never noticed how many left handed stormtroopers there were in the movie until now ;D
